Brrr... It's definitely fall here. It's chilly out! My fingers got cold fast as I was biking to work. I'm going to have to see about buying gloves, scarf, and hat soon (moved here with just a suitcase + a duffel bag earlier this summer, and all my cold-weather gear is pretty limited at the moment!).
After a great workout at the gym (a boot camp class - today: runs around the block, medball squat/throws, bag pushes, lunges), I came home and rushed to make breakfast before heading to work. I'm still figuring out the timing thing, for sure... wish I could have nice, leisurely breakfasts, but between working out, showering, getting dressed, and packing for the day, I always find myself hurrying.
1/3 cup Bob's Red Mill 5 grain cereal
1/2 tbsp ground flaxseed
1/2 tbsp light brown sugar
1 tbsp Trader Joe's dried cranberries
scrambled egg whites + dollop egg yolk (oops!) + lots and lots of pepper
