We have been using freshly ground raw and toasted nuts to stretch out and render more healthy meat dishes. Ground nuts are good in meatloaf, pates and dips, coatings for fish and even pie crusts.
Nuts’ healthy fats and proteins are good for you â€“ and they are tasty! Try out different nuts (they each have different health benefits) and figure out what appeals to you. I try not to buy too many at a time, because they are definitely better when fresh, not rancid.
