No-Grain Pie Crust

Now that holidays are approaching, it’s time to think about the pies! While the easiest thing to do about a pie crust is to buy one in a store, it is also not your healthiest option. Genetically-modified and highly glutinous wheat, corn syrup, soybean oil and trans-fats in a form of vegetable shortening are all typical ingredients of a pie crust. A vegan and gluten-free pie crust that tastes light and crumbly and takes ten minutes to make sounds like a much better option to me.

If you are allergic to coconut, try olive oil or (not vegan) butter instead.
