So the cough and sickness I was feeling yesterday has turned into a the full blown flu and a chest cold. Not fun. I will spare the details of getting sick today and not making it off the couch.
Since I ate nothing today except for 3 twin pops, (one in each flavor). I decided to skip the photos.
We are going away this weekend to Chicago for the OSU game vs. Northwestern. A few of my cousins are going and we are staying at my brother’s apartment. I want to bring some food so we don’t have to eat out all weekend (tailgates are so much more fun when you have homemade tailgate food), and because that is what big sister’s do.
I am thinking about making some crock-pot BBQ chicken because it will be:
gluten – free for one of my cousins
simple to travel with
good for serving with crackers/bread/chips/ a fork
Does anyone have a god, simple, healthy recipe? What about any other good travel/tailgate foods I could bring?
