Mutton Rizala ( Nawabi cuisine )

Mutton Rizala

You need

500 g mutton
2 white onions
1 teaspoon ginger juice
½ teaspoon garlic juice
5 green cardamom
½ teaspoon white pepper
2 tablespoon desiccated coconut
8 piece cashew nuts
2 ½ cups of water
½ cup beaten curd
½ cup cream
50 ml khoya, grated
3 tablespoon ghee
1 drop of kewra essence
Salt to taste
Edible silver foil for garnishing

Method

1, Clean and wash mutton pieces.

2, Grind onion , cashew nuts and coconut to a fine paste.

3, In a place mutton pieces , pour 2 ½ cups of water , salt and cardamoms. Cover and cook till it is done.

4. Heat ghee , fry onion paste , ginger and garlic juices. Add cooked mutton pieces, beaten curd , pepper , cream , khoya, kewra essence and salt. Cook for 2- 3 minutes. Garnish with silver foil and serve hot.
