It’s a classic, easy, clean dish full of flavor and fragrance. It makes a wonderful easy and filling lunch or an appetizer.
I like the combination of cold and warm in this salad. You can, of course, wait for the chickpeas to cool before adding them to the salad.
Be rather generous with black pepper: it makes chickpeas taste a lot better.
