Sure you can go to the store and buy spice mixes. But if you?ll read the label they contain chemicals that keep them from caking, preservatives, MSG and maybe even transfats. So why not make your own. Mix 2T paprika, 2 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp each of onion powder, dried oregano, and dried marjoram, ¾ tsp salt, ½ tsp cumin, and ¼ tsp each of cinnamon and cayenne. If you put a tight lid on it it?ll last for a couple of weeks in a cool dark place. Try it on catfish or tilapia for a little extra zing.
