Maggi Sweet Chilli Thai Fish Cakes

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4

Tip:

Herbs can really improve the flavour of a curry or stir fry, so try adding basil, coriander, parsley, chives, mint or lemongrass to your favourite dish. Many herbs are available minced and some are already blended in interesting combinations. Fresh herbs are best for a flavour boost, some can be frozen, and they also make great garnishes.

Ingredients

3 potatoes, peeled and diced
1/4 cup MAGGI Original Sweet Chilli Sauce
1 tsp MAGGI Authentic Thai Fish Sauce
425 g can tuna in spingwater, drained
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1 tsp grated ginger
1/4 cup chopped coriander
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
1 celery stick, finely chopped
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp oil

Method

Cook potatoes in boiling water. Drain and mash.

Add MAGGI Original Sweet Chilli Sauce, MAGGI Fish Sauce, tuna and all other ingredients except the oil.

Shape mixture into 4 patties.

Heat oil on a barbecue or in a fryingpan. Cook Fish Cakes until golden.

If desired serve with extra MAGGI Authentic Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce and lemon wedges.
