Kachumbar ( Indian style salad )

An easy to prepare Indian style salad, for added nutrition everyday.

PREPARATION TIME : 15 mins.
COOKING TIME : no cooking.
SERVES : 4

INGREDIENTS

Cucumber, chopped -1 cup (100 g)

Tomato, chopped -1 cup (120 g)

Onion, chopped -1 cup (100 g)

Coriander leaves, chopped -2 tbsp

Green chillies, chopped finely -2

Salt -½ tsp

METHOD

1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Serving suggestion: Serve with a tsp of lemon juice to increase the nutrient content of the salad.

TIP
For a nutritionally balanced meal, serve Kathi rolls with kachumbar.
