Jamaican Cake ( An easy dessert with a touch of Jamaica )

Serves : Four Time required : 45 minutes
You need
150 g flour 100 g castor sugar 25 g butter 65 ml milk 2 g cinnamon powder A pinch of salt 5 g baking powder
For the garnish
150 ml chocolate sauce 50 g melon scooped 2 mint springs
Method
1 , In a mixing bowl , cream the butter with the castor sugar till light and fluffy. Tip in the flour and the milk, together with the cinnamon , salt and baking powder and mix till you get a cake batter consistency.
2, Pour into decorative cake mould and bake at 250 * C for 15 minutes.
3, Remove , demould and cool on a wire rack till just warm.
4, Serve warm at room temperature.
5, Pour the chocolate sauce over the cake and decorate the top with scoops of melon and mint springs.
