Good Morning everyone!! Today is another STAPLE SUNDAY post-woohoo!

First off though… I am STILL getting comments on my Body Image post and I honestly cannot thank you all enough for the support and gratitude you have given me… It really means so so so much to me that you guys comment on any or all of my posts- I read every single one and they all bring a smile to my face.. FO REAL.

Okay enough of the emotional talk…

Let’s get on with Staple Sunday!.. P.S. If you’re a new reader and have no idea what SS is… check out this link (also on the top of my page!) to catch up!

Oh and thank you all for your feedback on staple ideas– I’ve got a list now and I’ll for sure be doing what you requested ASAP!

Today’s staple is not too unique- I think every single blogger loves this stuff.. but nonetheless I have found some SUPER TASTY treats to make with it… you shall not be disappointed ;)

So….what am I talkin’ bout?

Peanuts are a very good source of monounsaturated fats, the type of fat that is emphasized in the heart-healthy Mediterranean diet. Studies of diets with a special emphasis on peanuts have shown that this little legume is a big ally for a healthy heart. In one such randomized, double-blind, cross-over study involving 22 subjects, a high monounsaturated diet that emphasized peanuts and peanut butter decreased cardiovascular disease risk by an estimated 21% compared to the average American diet.

In addition to their monounsaturated fat content, peanuts feature an array of other nutrients that, in numerous studies, have been shown to promote heart health. Peanuts are good sources of vitamin E , niacin , folate , protein and manganese.
