If you know someone receiving social assistance and they have health problems, their Medicaid/Medicare coverage may include for them a lesson or so on healthy eating/cooking. This is especially true for those diagnosed with diabetes, cancer, etc. If you know of someone in this situation who needs some pointers, contact your county?s Social Services or Department on Aging.
