Asian-Style Green Bean

Crisp green beans and sweet red bell pepper strips combine with the earthy aroma and flavors of sesame oil in this low-fat, high fiber side dish.

Prep Time: 5 min Cook Time: 8 min Servings: 2


1 tsp Oil - sesame salad or cooking
2 tbsp Seeds - sesame seeds whole dried
2 Peppers - bell yellow or sweet, raw
1 cup Beans snap green raw

Nutritional Totals:(per serving)
Calories: 102 Carbs: 9gm Fat: 6.5gm Protein: 3gm

Trim green beans and blanch in boiling water for about two minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water. In a serving dish, toss beans, pepper strips and sesame oil. Garnish with sesame seeds.
