I will be planting a number of herbs out in our summer garden, but I decided to start an indoor garden to keep in the kitchen through the winter. It will sit outside during the summer, but I’ll move it back inside in the fall.
Currently I’ve planted thyme and basil plants. I’m also starting seeds for rosemary, cilantro, and parsley.
As my skills in cooking have grown over the last year I’ve really found that I like the taste of fresh herbs and I’ve also found that fresh herbs from the grocery store are expensive. The only ongoing cost involved here is a little water.
