1/2 cup mixed steel cut oats, amaranth or quinoa
2 cups water
pinch of salt
Bring water to boil in medium saucepan.
Stir in grains & salt.
Lower heat to simmer. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until water is absorbed and grain is tender. Serve with maple syrup, walnuts and/or flax seeds.
Note: Flax seed must be ground for best absorption.
