You have probably worked with play dough and are an expert on salt dough . This winter season, you can also try homemade clay: it takes 3 minutes to make, it is moldeable, fun to work with and it is winter-white!

Kids can make sculptures out of this clay and you can put the sculptures in the oven, preset to 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-120 minutes, depending on the size of the sculpture, in order to dry them.

Homemade Clay

Ingredients:

1/2 cup cornstarch

1 cup baking soda

3/4 cup water

Directions:

In a medium pot, mix the cornstarch and the soda. Gradually, add water and mix well. Cook on medium flame, mixing periodically, until the mixture begins to look like play dough. Take it out of the pot, let it get cooler. Knead.
