 If you ever- expanding collection of your knick - knacks leaves you strapped for space, use the space beneath your staircase. Ask your local carpenter ( you may need the mason’s help if the stairs are concrete ) to hollow out shelves in different sizes and fit in beams to support the framework from within. And you have room for a bicycle as well.
