Herb Chicken

From "Cooking Without a Grain of Salt."

3-3 1/2 lb. chicken, cut in pieces

1 teaspoon marjoram

1 teaspoon thyme

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Freshly ground black pepper

4 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine

Wash and dry chicken. Place in greased low baking dish and sprinkle with marjoram and thyme. Let stand 1 hour. Sprinkle with parsley and pepper. Dot with margarine or butter. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 35 to 45 minutes or until tender. For company, heat pineapple chunks and place under chicken.
