Herb Bread

This crunchy and crusty bread makes a great accompaniment to your favourite soups, salads and pastas.

PREPARATION TIME : 10 mins.
COOKING TIME : 10 mins.
SERVES : 4

INGREDIENTS

Butter -50 g

Coriander paste -2-3 tbsp.

Bread -8 slices

METHOD

1. Mix together the butter and coriander paste. Blend well.

2. Apply the coriander butter on each slice, place the slices together. Wrap in a foil and warm in a hot oven (180ºC) for 10 minutes just before serving.

3. Remove herb bread from the oven and serve hot.

VARIATION - To make garlic bread, replace coriander paste with 5 crushed cloves of garlic.

TIP

Makes a balanced nutritious snack when accompanied with refreshing orange slush and three bean salad.
