We all know that chicken soup is one of the remedies used for healing colds and other disease. Are vegetarians screwed, then? Not so much, they just have to learn to use spices. Turmeric, garlic and cayenne pepper have been used in healing disease for centuries. One is an anti-inflammatory, the second one kills bacteria and viruses, while the last one decreases mucous, opens up congestion and decreases body’s core temperature. All you have to do is put all three in a delicious soup and add some vitamin-heavy veggies and some (optionally gluten-free ) pasta. Eating this soup, you’d feel your breathing passages opening up and healing taking place. Kids love this soup, too. How can you not love something that has pasta and chickpeas in it?
