March 9th is just one day out of a whole month that is dedicated to nutrition. That’s right the month of March is designated as National Nutrition Month! This year’ theme is Eat Right With Color . To me, Eat Right With Color means we need to strive to load our plates with as many different colors as possible! Make it a point every day to explore the colors of the rainbow with your fruits and vegetables. With each color you receive different vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. So in order to get maximum nutrition from your diet, you have to eat a variety of colors of fruits and vegetables.
