1 ½ cups flour 1 teaspoon oil for mixing Water for mixing 1 onion , chopped fine 100 g shelled green peas , mashed in a mixer Ginger- garlic paste to taste 1 tablespoon tomato puree 100 g potatoes, boiled and mashed Salt to taste 1 teaspoon green chilli paste Ghee / oil for mixing
1, Add one teaspoon oil to the flour, mix and add enough water to bind to a smooth dough. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
2, Heat two teaspoon oil and fry onion till brown. Add mashed green peas , ginger- garlic paste and tomato puree, boiled and mashed potatoes, salt and green chilli paste. Keep stirring on low heat for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool. Divide the mixture into marble sized balls for the filling.
3, Divide the flour dough into lemon sized balls. Roll them into cup shapes. Place the filling ball in the centre of each and close the dough ball so as to cover it fully. Roll out into parathas and roast on a hot tawa, adding oil as required , till done. Serve with tomato sauce / curd/ pickle.
