Smoothies Smoothies Smoothies! You can pack these yummy treats with whatever you want. Use organic fruits whenever possible. This week I have had:
Day One - Strawberry, Banana, Rice Milk smoothie. I used frozen strawberries and a fresh banana.
Day Two- Blueberry, Banana, Honey, Rice Milk smoothies. Frozen blueberries, fresh banana, raw Tupelo honey.
Day Three- Same as Day Two.
Day Four - 1/2 Young Thai Coconut (meat and water), Blueberries, Banana and Maple Syrup. This one stuck with me for hours and was so tasty!
On Day Five, I will have a peach (frozen), other half of the coconut (meat & juice), banana, and kiwi.
Hope this helps some of you who are looking for healthy breakfast ideas!
P.S. I am trying to combine my food properly, which is why you don't see yogurt in any of these recipes.... I'm finding that fresh and/or frozen fruit really is a great breakfast and I don't get as hungry as soon as I would if I ate a bagel or other carb loaded food for breakfast.
