Got Juice!

Here is a list of my favorite juice recipies :)    Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Green Juice

- High in iron, beta carotene , vitamin K , vitamin C .
Serves 2 cups

1 green apple
1 C spinach
1 C lacinato kale
1/2 collard greens
2 celery stalks
2 medium carrots

Banana, Kiwi, Lemon & Pear
- High in vitamin C
Serves 2 cups

1 ripe banana, peeled
2 kiwi fruit
1/2 Lemon
1 Pear

Note: I juice lemons and limes with the peel on them.  The same thing goes for Kiwi, I even eat the kiwi with the skin on it.  So peeling is optional

Watermelon, Papaya & Strawberry
- Contains vitamins C, A and folate (one of the B vitamins)
Serves 1.5 cups

1 C cubed watermelon
1 Container strawberries
1 C Papaya, seeded

Note:  I have read that unripe papaya could result in miscarriage due to its latex content… so pick carefully

Prune, Pineapple & Orange
- Excellent source of vitamin C, with the prunes providing iron, and the vitamin C helps the body absorb iron
Serves 1.5 cups

10 pitted prunes
1/4 ripe pineapple
2 oranges

Carrot, Apple, Pear & Lemon
- Full of vitamins A, C and B6
Serves 1.5 cups

2 carrots
1 apple
1 pear
1/2 lemon

Carrot, Apple, Lemon & Parsley
- Contains vitamin C, beta carotene and antioxidants
Serves 1.5 cups

2 carrots
1 apple
1/2 lemon
1 C parsley leaves, lightly packed

Juice Remedies:

Lemon, Ginger, Pineapple & Honey
Serves 1.5 cups
Excellent for colds and sore throats.  Lemon and pineapple provide vitamin C, honey soothes the throat and ginger helps clear sinuses

1 lemon
1/4 ripe pineapple
1 small fresh ginger
1-2 tbsp honey

Apple, Cranberry & Pink grapefruit
Serves 1.5 cups
- Cranberries are an excellent natural treatment for bladder infections

1 apple
1 pink grapefruit
1 C cranberries

Pineapple, Celery, Apple, Cucumber & Ginger
Serves 1.5 cups
- Useful for the relief of arthritis, since pineapple, celery and ginger all have anti-inflammatory properties

1/4 ripe pineapple
2 stalks celery
1 apple
1 small cucumber
1 small ginger

Apple, Kiwi, Celery, Tomato & Parsley
Serves 1.5 cups
- This high potassium cocktail is helpful for regulating blood pressure

1 apple
1 kiwi
1 celery stalk
1 ripe tomato
1/4 bunch celery
