In case you didn’t think you had the time or money to go to college, or to learn what you really wanted to learn in college about wellness, keep in mind that lifesaver of modern American life: the community college. Often, for under $100 (and much under, if you are a senior citizen), there are fascinating health and lifestyle courses taught by local experts.
I’m perusing a class schedule now, from the Carroll County Community College (Maryland). There are all kinds of great, healthy options, such as Mediterranean cooking, family caregiving, belly dancing and aquatics.
Usually, these community classes run for a period of about six weeks. So, without a terrible time commitment, you can learn some lifestyle tricks and have the fun of going to college!
