So you think frozen foods are all relegated to the realm of bad pizzas and tasteless Lean Cuisine meals? Think again. Here are a few brands whose mission is to provide those on a go with yummy and healthy meals you won't ever feel ashamed of picking up.

Seeds of Change boasts 11 (count 'em) tasty entrees with 20 to 30 percent of your regular daily allowance of vitamin A and vitamin C - not to mention organic veggies and brown rice. Favorites include Spicy Yucatan Frijoles and Portabello Mushroom and Eggplant Lasagna.

Kashi All-Natural Entrees also steps it up with six brand-new frozen meals based on its high-fiber, seven-grain pilaf. Tasty examples include Black Bean Mango and Lime Cilantro Shrimp.

One of the largest problems when it comes to frozen meals is their unremittingly high sodium content. Amy's Kitchen Light in Sodium solves that problem. The brand's four meals, including Black Bean Enchilada and Vegetable Lasagna, only have 190 to 380 milligrams of sodium per dish.

My daughter and husband love the natural frozen entries I get at the natural food store. Amy's Kitchen is at the top of their list taste and mine for ingredients. It's quick and easy and I don't have to cook. I same fresh salad eater. And that, you can never get in a frozen food aisle.
Healthy Choice has a new line of "steemers" out-- frozen meals that actually taste like real food. The sodium content is a bit high, but compared to Lean Cuisine and some of the other brands available in the grocery store, these actually taste REALLY good. The vegetables stay crunchy and the carbs aren't mushy. Give it a try!
