Fried Squid Rings with Maggi Coating Mix

Fried Squid Rings

400 g squid, cleaned
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons milk, liquid
2 cloves garlic, crushed
Pinch of ground black pepper
1 sachet MAGGI® Coating Mix
2 cups vegetable oil for frying


Cut squid into ½ cm thick rings.

In a bowl, combine, eggs, milk garlic and pepper.

Dip squid rings in egg mixture, drain off excess, and then toss in the MAGGI Secretes Coating Mix.

Deep fry rings in preheated 190°C hot oil for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with lemon or tartar sauce.
