MethodDebone and wash the fish. Mix lime juice, salt , pepper and mustard powder. Marinate the fish in the mixture for 10 minutes.
Beat the egg till light. Add flour , salt and pepper and mix well. Add a litle water and mix to a thick batter. Dip the fish fillets in this batter and roll in breadcrumbs. Deep fry in hot oil till golden color or till done . Serve with French fries and tomato sauce.

Time required : 25 minutes plus marinating time
Ingredients500 g paneer ( cottage cheese )
Oil for frying
20 curry leaves
For the marinade20 g Kashmiri deghi powder / paste
4 g black pepper powder
30 ml lemon juice
Salt to taste
For the batter100 g gram flour
10 g coriander powder
3 g black pepper powder
A pinch of aniseed ( saunf ) powder
1 g all spice powder
10 g ginger
5 green chillies , chopped fine
10 g Kashmiri deghi mirch paste / powder
Salt to taste
Water for mixing
MethodCut the cottage cheese ( paneer ) into 5 cm cubes. Mix all the marinade ingredients and and marinate the paneer cubes in this paste for 30 minutes.
Mix all the ingredients for the batter. Add enough water and mix to a thick paste.
Heat oil and season with curry leaves. Dip the paneer cubes in the prepared batter and deep fry in hot oil till done.
