Finally Checking In!…

Posted Oct 16 2013 6:51am

Hi there!  Happy Wednesday to you!  Wow, Wednesday already and the last time I posted was on Friday.  I really apologize for not posting.  I needed some time off from blogging to gather my thoughts.  I have been very busy with work and some other things and just needed some time to myself.  I am back and ready to go now though!  I’ll try to catch up on as much as I haven’t blogged about and then I’ll just continue moving forward.  Let’s get started!

On Friday night, Mike and I went out to dinner with my in-laws.  We went to a local italian restaurant.  I didn’t take any pictures of my meal.  I wasn’t a huge fan of my dinner.  It was kind of disappointing to be honest.  I ordered chicken with ravioli and they didn’t cut the bad parts of the chicken off and it just completely ruined my meal.  I am a big believer of trimming the chicken that you are going to eat or planning on serving to people.  I don’t know why you would serve patrons those parts of chicken?  Ew.  It completely just ruined my appetite.  After dinner, we went to an ice cream place next door.  I got pumpkin spice ice cream and it wasn’t that great.  I was expecting more.  We went back to their house for a little while and then called it a night.

On Saturday, Mike and I ran some errands during the day.  I ran out of ink for our printer because me printing out so many coupons!  I feel like I need an entire printer just dedicated to printing out coupons.  I really would like a wireless printer.  I think that along with a dlsr camera are on my radar for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.  I hope they will be ridiculously cheap or I won’t be able to get them this time around.  I spent the rest of the afternoon working on things for work that I had to get done. I took a dinner break.  For dinner, we had leftover pizza from Aldi that we made on Thursday night.

After dinner, I went right back to doing my work.  Mike was helping me and Melissa and my mom came over to help me as well.  Remember, I am in Events now so it was something Event related. I’m not going to get into the whole thing of what I was doing but it was event related and I needed a TON of help in order to get it ready to bring into work on Tuesday.  I was so glad that they were able to help me.

On Sunday, Mike and I woke up early and did our usual shopping trip at ShopRite and then I went right back to doing work.  Mike helped me through the entire Eagles game and we finally finished.  It really took forever.  I was so exhausted that I managed to fall asleep for about a half hour.  Mike made us turkey burgers for dinner and they were fantastic!

On Monday, I had off for Columbus Day!  Melissa and I spent the entire day together.  We went to Wegman’s for lunch and then spent the rest of the day together and talked a lot.  We had some other things that we wanted to do but we just didn’t end up having time to do them.  I am able to take off another day this week for working over the weekend so hopefully Melissa and I will be able to do the things that we wanted to do on Monday.

Tuesday was a very busy day at work because of finishing the things I did over the weekend.  Thank goodness it’s all done now.  I’m thankful.  I had some errands to run after work with Mike.  So we were out already and decided to just stop and get dinner.

I was glad that we stopped because I was emotionally and physically drained and just didn’t feel like cooking.  The wrap was just okay.  It wasn’t anything special.

So there you have the past few days in the life of me.  I hope your past few days were better than mine!  Anything exciting happen since we were gone?  Tell me one thing you are thankful for in your life.

I am thankful for my family who support me and love me unconditionally.

Happy Wednesday!
