Strategies for Using “Skinny Dip” Ingredients
An easy way to lower the fat and calories of your favorite creamy dips is to swap out some of all of the full-fat ingredients for low fat alternatives. Low fat mayonnaise for regular. Low fat sour cream or Nonfat Greek yogurt for regular sour cream. Non fat or reduced fat cream cheese for full fat. Pureed cottage cheese for mayonnaise or sour cream. You get the idea.
Pureed beans and roasted vegetables work well too.
