I love when my eggs are very well done, especially in an Omelette. I love when it’s brown like that. The cafeteria in my work on the other hand, has no clue how to cook eggs! Every time I’ve ordered an omelette it’s been raw! It’s disgusting!! I never realized it was that difficult to cook an egg. I think cooking eggs are the easiest thing to do. I don’t know why it’s so complicated there. It’s scary too because some people might not inspect their food and then they get sick from the negligence of the cafeteria workers. That is why I always check my food before eating it. I don’t want to risk more stomach trouble than I already have.
Moving on to a new topic. As you can see the headline of my post today is fan-mail. While I was driving into work today, I heard the topic of fan mail on the radio. They were asking if anyone in the past has written a letter to their favorite celebrity and if they got anything in return? I thought this would be an interesting topic to ask all of you! Have you written a celebrity a letter and have they sent you anything back in return?
I used to write letters to celebrities all the time when I was younger. I remember sending a letter to Jonathan Taylor Thomas from Home Improvement.
Sadly I never heard anything back from him. I wrote Mark-Paul Gosselaar a letter.
He was my absolute favorite crush! I had a massive crush on him and thought I was going to marry him. The funny thing is, that I actually ended up meeting him in person at the Philadelphia Car Show one year. They had the entire cast of Saved by the Bell there. I literally thought I was going to die when I met him. Here I was a little girl, holding a letter that I wrote him and giving him a stuffed animal. He probably thought I was a crazy person! Oh well.
I also wrote Jason Marsden a letter from the show Step by Step and you might also remember him from Full House.
Somehow I managed to find him on AOL back in the day. It really was him because I received an autographed picture and a letter from him and we talked back and forth for a while. It was quite odd! I remember that there used to be websites that would post celebrities AOL names and I remember trying some to see if it was really them. They were right about Jason Marsden. It was interesting.
I don’t remember writing to any other celebrities. I’m sure it’s much easier to try to interact with celebrities through Twitter now. You may remember my recent following by David Tutera ! That made me so excited! I also got tweeted back by Robert Irvine after we met him at his live show. That was such an awesome moment. He was SUCH a nice guy!
That is my brush with writing to celebrities. I can’t wait to read some of your stories! Alright, well have a lovely Tuesday! Wish for snow with me!
