I am an egg person and I love to have eggs for breakfast.However, egg yolk (the yellow part), is high in cholesterol.So either I did not have eggs, and missed them, or had them and then felt guilty about it.
I have now discovered a better way to have eggs.Instead of having one whole egg (with the yellow and the white part), I combine the white parts of 2 eggs and leave the yolk altogether.The white parts do not have cholesterol and are high in protein.Therefore, I get to have a healthy breakfast that is satisfying as well.If you are also an egg lover, then just try this!
I like hardboiled egg whites. You can boil the whole egg, then when you peel it, just take out the yolk. The whites are great on crackers as a snack...or even on toast for breakfast!
I know they've been making egg white omelettes for the Hollywood elite for years. Sometimes, that taste is a little too light for me. I just saw where Egg Beaters is coming out with a new product -- mostly egg whites with a touch of yolk for flavor. That seems like a good compromise!
