Eat Well Card sent me some of their wonderful cards to review and another set to give away! After studying the product, I think every health-conscious person should have Eat Well Cards in their wallet. The size of a credit card, these cards are wonderful shopping assistants, helping you to make healthier and more informed decisions.
These cards contain tables of pesticide levels in common fruit and vegetables, as well as mercury levels in fish. These tables are organized in a way that’s easily readable, even while in a supermarket. Fruits are on one card, vegetables are on another and fish is on the third card. Everything is divided into three columns: low, medium and high, which pertains to pesticide or mercury levels. As long as you and your family stick to the “low” column, you should have no problem in terms of pesticide or mercury exposure.
On average, non-organic fruits and vegetables could be treated with anywhere from 33-64 different pesticides. Eating fruits and vegetables in the highest pesticide range could leave you exposed to at least 10 different pesticides. When it comes to fish, The Eat Well Card has outlined the most frequently consumed fish to help you make healthier choices when buying/eating fish.
Eat Well Card also has an app.
And now The Eat Well Card is giving a set of cards away!
By the way, if you like giveaways, I have a few that are ending soon: free coconut oil from Tropical Traditions , free set of YogaPulse DVDs , and f ree homemade beautiful hat for a girl ( this one is ending in a few days- hurry!)
