Eat Fruits & Veggies by Season

Posted Nov 18 2009 12:00am

Not only it is cheaper to eat the vegetable or fruit that is seasonably available, but it also gives you the opportunity to eat locally.  Fruits and vegetables that are shipped from other countries are usually packed before they are even ripened so when you get it at your local store it would be almost ready to consume.  Well that maybe ok, but it doesn’t necessarily give you the best fruit/vegetable all its nutrients.   Here is a chart listing the fruits and vegetables that are in season each month.
