I don’t eat any jams made with sugar. Sugar is another thing on my forbidden list. It is toxic! I only use natural and unrefined sweeteners, honey for example. All the jams that I make are made from dehydrated fruits, combined with delicious honey and amazing spices. The inconvenient is that they won’t last too long in the fridge; I keep them only a week or so, but honestly, most of the times the sweet lil’ thing disappears in 2 or 3 days.
Ingredients:
2 cups of dehydrated cranberries, soaked over night
2 tbs honey
1 tbs lemon zest
2-3 tbs lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon
Water (as needed)
Chop the cranberries in a blender until you obtain a lovely ruby colored paste.
Blend with the other ingredients until all the flavors are evenly combined. Add water slowly until you get the consistency you want (I used about ½ a cup).
Place the jam in a clean jar and sprinkle some cinnamon on top. Keep it in the fridge.
