1 cup self rising flour ½ cup milk ½ cup castor sugar 60 g butter 15 g melted butter , extra 1 teaspoon vanilla essence 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (Combine 1 tablespoon extra sugar and ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon and keep aside )
1,Grease a deep 20 cm round cake pan, line base with paper and grease paper.
2, Cream butter and essence in a small bowl with electric mixer; gradually add sugar, then add egg, beat until till light and creamy.
3, Stir in sifted flour and milk, beat lightly until smooth.
4, Spread into prepared pan, bake in moderate oven at 190- 200 * C or 375- 400 * for about 25 minutes. Stand 2 minutes before turning on to wire rack; brush with extra butter, sprinkle with combined extra sugar and cinnamon powder.
