Chicken sandwich & Chicken wings with soy sauce

Chicken sandwich

Serves : 2

Ingredients

4 slices of whole wheat or brown bread
2 - 3 teaspoon butter
2 - 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 cup boiled and shredded chicken
2 tablespoon finely chopped bell pepper or capsicum
2 tablespoon shredded carrot
1 tablespoon finely chopped lettuce or salad leaves

Method

Spread butter evenly on one side of the bread slice after cutting of its hard baked edges.

Mix mayonnaise , shredded chicken, bell pepper , carrot and salad leaves and spread out the mixture evenly on the buttered side of the bread.

Now cover it with another slices of buttered bread to make the perfect sandwich. Cut into small triangles or square shape.




Chicken wings with soy sauce

Serves : 2 - 3

Ingredients

250 g chicken wings
2 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
250 ml water
1 tablespoon sliced spring onion
1 - inch piece fresh ginger , cut into 4 slices

Method

Wash and dry chicken wings. In a small saucepan , bring water to the boil , then add the chicken , spring onion and ginger and bring to the boil. Add the remaining ingredients, then cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove the chicken wings from any remaining liquid and serve hot.
