Chicken corn soup

Serves : 2


5 g butter
20 g onion , thinly chopped
10 g garlic , finely chopped
5 g white flour
240 g chicken stock
100 g boneless chicken , cooked and shredded
50 g corn kernels
Salt and pepper to taste


Melt butter in a saucepan over medium – low heat , add onion and garlic and stir frequently until just soft.

Stir in the flour , for two minutes, then add corn kernels and chicken.

Season with salt and pepper.

Reduce the heat to medium low and cover and simmer for 35 minutes or until the chicken and corn are tender.

Pour in the chicken stock and cook for five minutes . Serve hot.
