Catching Up!!…

Posted Mar 12 2013 6:43am

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday to you!  I apologize for my lack of posting yesterday.  I actually had the day off from work and I had a lot of things to get done and I didn’t have a chance to sit down and update which is why I updated on Sunday.  Anyway, I hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a great start!  What did you do this weekend?  Unfortunately, my camera is completed dead right now.  I forgot to charge it last night so I’m not going to able to post very many pictures today.  So please bear with me today.  I can already tell today is going to be a bit “off.”  That’s okay!  I stayed up to the watch the entire 3 hours of the Bachelor last night!  Reality Steve was right once again!  I always check his site throughout the entire season and even before the season.  I need to know the spoilers before they happen!

Enough of that though, let’s get recapping on the weekend!  On Friday, Melissa and I decided to take out food from Red Lobster because she had a gift card and I had a coupon.  That was a huge mistake!  There was barely any food at all!  I was shocked when I opened the bag.  The containers were half-full and it looked like the majority of the meals were missing.  They were thrown together and were very disappointing.  I decided to try shrimp for my entrée, even though it came up that I am allergic to it on my allergy test a few months ago. I wanted to see what would happen if I ate it.

Well that was a bad idea eating that!  I got extremely sick with my stomach and spent the rest of the night in pain and the next morning/day feeling very sick! I guess I should probably stay away from shrimp for a while even though I really like it.  GR!  Melissa, my mom and I played some board games while watching tv and just hanging out.  It was nice and relaxing and a fun way to spend a Friday night!  Are you allergic to any foods?  What happens if you eat them?

On Saturday, Mike and I had some errands to run.  We are in the process of figuring out our living situation because our lease is up at the end of June.  So it’s kind of stressful with our situation but we are making the best of it looking for places to live.  I tell ya, some people really don’t take care of their houses or live like slobs!  I cannot believe it.  It’s a frustrating process but I’m sure we will find something eventually.  The people above us keep getting worse so we are looking forward to the day when we can move!

We stayed in the majority of the day on Saturday.  We had a rotisserie chicken for dinner with vegetables and a potato which I can’t show you.  We are obsessed with Sam’s Club’s rotisserie chicken!

We are not members of Sam’s Club.  We belong to BJ’s Warehouse but my in-laws are members of Sam’s.  We had a rotisserie chicken a few weeks ago when we were at their house and Mike and I loved it!  So Mike went with his mom to get us one and it seriously lasted like 4 days of us eating it! This is the biggest chicken I have ever seen in my life!  It’s HUGE!  It’s only $4.99 too!!  How can you beat that price?  I love it!  I think we are going to pick up one this weekend again.  I’m looking forward to it since it’s just so good!  I’d much rather eat that for dinner.

On Sunday, we went to the supermarket, produce store and Aldi to stock up on items for the week and house that we need.  We got some good deals but the supermarket really isn’t having very good sales lately.  We got better deals at the produce store and Aldi.  At least we saved somewhere.  For dinner, I’m blanking out on what we had to eat.  I don’t know why I can’t think of what we had for dinner.  I’m thinking it might have been chicken but I seriously can’t remember.  I apologize for that!

Yesterday, I had off from work.  I had some things that I needed to get done with Melissa.  I was glad that we were able to do things together that we needed to get done.  It’s always better when you can do things with another person.  I had a good time talking with her for a while about things.  I feel very blessed to have her as a sister and best friend.  Mike and I kept things very simple last night for dinner because my stomach was not feeling well.  We had breakfast for dinner. Our favorite!  Then we were planted to the tv for 3 hours watching the Bachelor!  Yay!

So there you have it.  You are officially caught up now.  I hope you have a lovely Tuesday!
