For those who are uninitiated to this sweet dish - here is cashew nut macaroon. A sweet and crunchy delicacy predominately from Tuticorin / Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu. Tuticorin is also known as "Pearl City"and also a commercial seaport.
While I’m not sure of the recipe. This is a baked dish made out of egg white, cashew nuts and sugar.
This is very tasty and melts in the mouth, store in an air tight container or else they may absorb moisture and become spongy. It is available in all leading supermarkets and bakery. A variation of this is coconut macaroons.
