Calorie count of some Bengali dishes

Breakfast: Mango milkshake, 3 glasses, 500 calories; 6 luchis with 1 big bowl of mixed vegetables with potato: 900 calories; 6 eggs (3 boiled and 3 scrambled), 700 calories

Mid-morning: 100 g soaked almonds with jaggery: 400 calories; 2 mangoes: 200 calories; suji halwa with nuts and raisins, one big bowl: 300 calories

Lunch: Rice, one-and-a-half big bowls and 5 chappatis; Moong dal with ghee; Aloor Dum; Mutton (15 pieces); Mishti Doi (1 bowl); Rasogolla (2 pieces). Total: 3,000 calories

Tea: Peanuts with sliced potato, cucumber and onion: 300 calories; Mishti Doi Ghol, 2 glasses: 300 calories; 4 bananas with eight slices bread and butter: 600 calories; 4 sweets: 200 calories; Milkshake, 2 glasses: 200 calories.

Evening: 1 big bowl of chirer pulao with potato and nuts: 250 calories; 2 mangoes: 150 calories
