I thought I'd turn to a healthier alternative to bread every now and then...so I tried boiling brown rice with some veggies. The veggies were alright, but after all the water was absorbed, the brown rice was still crunchy.
I let the water boil, then I put a third of a cup of rice in and put the lid on. I let steam come out of the hole on the lid and stir occasionally. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. [[I ruin everything I cook except for non-dairy spinach dip lol]]
