@Bourbon Girl You make such a great point about changing names - thanks for commenting! I was born Christina Suwa - my parents named me to be a good Christian. But I'd always gone by my middle name, Keiko (long story). Turns out, I'd covert to Judaism when I was in my 20s. When I got married, I changed my name - I bumped everything over one, dropping Christina as my first name, making Keiko my legal first name and making Suwa, my maiden name, my new middle name. And amazingly - my parents were totally supportive and wonderful about it, just as they were when I converted, too :) Thanks for sharing your story about your children's names!
