Anecdotal but surprising- Saturated Fats and Body Mass Plateau

Having cooked a goose for Christmas, and having almost drowned in the resulting rendered fat, we googled “goose fat, health” and found some astounding things.
On the heels of this, I increased my saturated fat intake; fried my eggs in goose fat, started using butter, bought coconut oil and use it to fry chicken (no breading) and put it on my 10-grain cereal… And… without trying to, or imtending to, particularly, a long-longstanding body mass plateau of 181 pounds gave way, and i’m now coming in at 177- a pound less than high school graduation weight..!
Anecdotal, but true…and, mind- boggling to me! I’m amazed! This flies in the face of 30 years of popular wisdom and food industry hype…
