Are you a fan of edamame? I actually really like it a lot. It’s fun to eat and it tastes great too. Sea salt is a must on top. It gives it more flavor. I can’t believe it took me so many years to try it! I’m glad that I finally did. It’s a must when dining at a Japanese restaurant.
I also noticed a bag of Vegetable Goyza in the freezer so I decided to make that in the microwave.

Better view of the entire bag
The best part about these Goyza is that right on the bag it says No Preservatives and No Artificial Ingredients. I REALLY like that about most of Trader Joe’s products. I have to be really careful because of my stomach and knowing that there aren’t any of those types of ingredients in the food makes it a winner in my book!
While the goyza was cooking, I steamed some white rice so that it could be the base for our dinner. I also took out Goyza sauce from Trader Joe’s that we had sitting in the pantry.

Now it was time to assemble! I used the rice as a base layer in a large bowl. Then I added the vegetable goyza, and tossed in some of the roasted vegetables that I made. Once everything was in the bowl, I poured a little bit of the goyza dipping sauce in and mixed everything together! It was quick, easy and simple. Plus, it tasted great! I called it my Asian Goyza Bowl!
My dinner bowl
I was so impressed by the vegetable goyza! They are so good! They tasted fresh and had just the right amount of vegetables inside. It makes for a great entree or even as an appetizer for entertaining. If you did that, you could use the goyza sauce just for dipping for your guests. I really enjoyed this. Now, I’m hoping to get back to Trader Joe’s sometime soon so we can buy another bag of this stuff. It was that good! Have you ever tried the vegetable goyza from TJ?
The rest of the evening, we spent catching up on the tv shows that aired Sunday night. Mike was watching the Eagles game when they were on. So I watched something that I wanted to watch on the dvr. So last night, we watched Once Upon A Time, Revenge and the first 15 minutes of 666 Park Avenue. I have to say I was kind of bored through Once Upon A Time. I don’t know why. I guess the first episode back should have been stronger. I don’t know? Sometimes that show is hit or miss with me. I either love it or I’m bored the entire episode. Revenge on the other hand, always keeps my attention! I love that show. I am a fan of Emily Van Camp ever since she was on Brother’s and Sisters. Speaking of which, another actor from that show, David (I can’t remember his last name) is on 666 Park Avenue. I’m not sure how I feel about that show yet. I think I need to watch a little bit more to make a final decision.
Well, that is all I have for today folks. Have a lovely Tuesday!
