A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words!!…

Posted Feb 13 2013 6:52am

Hi there!  Happy Wednesday to you!  We have finally reached the middle of the week.  The rumor is that this afternoon through this evening, we are supposed to get 1 to 3 inches of snow.  Then I keep hearing word about a possible big snowstorm on Sunday.  So that should be interesting.  I guess we will see what happens with snow.  Mike said he also heard that there is likely to be a huge snowstorm before the end of February comes.  So I might just get my big snowstorm after all!  Even though, I think I might have changed my mind about it after shoveling on Saturday.  That is the one thing that I absolutely hate about snow.  I hate shoveling.  It’s probably because I don’t have a good shovel.  I need to invest in a better one.  The one that I use is like for a little kid which is probably why my back hurt.

Anyway, for dinner last night, we used a free coupon that I had for a pizza from a local pizzeria.  I thought the pizza was just alright.  We got a white pizza with grilled chicken on it.  I made some french fries to go along as a side.

Dinner..

Dinner..

I’ve been trying not to eat as many vegetables lately to see if that would prevent my stomach from bothering me.  I miss vegetables though.  I really think I need to add them back into my diet.  It doesn’t matter what I eat though.  My stomach always hurts.  We will get to the bottom of this eventually.  Until then, I will keep experimenting and trying new and different things to heal myself.

You might be wondering about my post title today.  Well I wanted to take some time to show you some pictures that we had printed from our wedding/honeymoon and displayed around our house.  We aren’t done with pictures that we want to display but this is a nice start for us.  Did you know that on Sunday we will have been married for 6 months already?  Seriously.  Where did the time go?  It doesn’t feel like we were married 6 months ago to me!  It’s crazy that it’s been that long.  We still haven’t made our photo album with our photographer yet.  We are hoping to get started on that this weekend.  It’s hard when you have well over 1,000 pictures to decide from.  After a while, they all start looking the same.  I do have my favorites though.

This is my absolute favorite picture from our entire wedding.  I think it just shows how much we both are in love with each other and care so deeply for each other.  I also love how my dress and bouquet look in this photo.

We received this Mr & Mrs frame as a part of a shower gift.  We registered for it at Bed, Bath and Beyond.  You can find it here .  What you are unable to see because of how I took the picture is that at the bottom of the frame, it says, “It had to be you.”  I love that about this frame.  I also like the top that says Mr & Mrs.

One of my favorite frames in the entire universe is one that Melissa got us.  It is the absolute perfect frame for us and you will see why right now.

My favorite frame! At the bottom it says Mike & Hope 8/17/12.

Obviously I am a Disney fanatic and we all know that.  As you can see it is Cinderella’s carriage!  It couldn’t be a more perfect frame to display a photo from our wedding day.  We were supposed to get married in Disney World so this frame just reminds me of how much I love Disney!  It’s positioned on our fireplace mantel right next to the Wedding Minnie and Mickey that Mike got me as a wedding gift .  This picture was taken during our first dance.

Another picture that I like is not from our wedding but it was a professional picture that was taken during our honeymoon at Sandals.  Since we bought some of the professional pictures, they gave us a special Sandals picture frame to display a picture in.

The next collage is something that I cannot take my eyes off of when I walk into my house.  It is a focal point now in our living room and I think it looks beautiful.  Mike put the entire collage together on the wall and I got the photos printed that we wanted to display.

We received this collage as a wedding gift.  It is from Bed, Bath and Beyond.  I love how it has a place to display your wedding invitation and have it be a part of the collage.  As you can see, I blurred out information that I didn’t want exposed.  I love the frame that says “I Do.”  I just really like how the entire thing looks together.

I would like to purchase another collage set to display our families and friends pictures on the wall somewhere in our house.  I really like adding pictures to a home.  I think it just enhances the look of everything and really makes it feel like a home.  Plus, I am so happy and excited about our wedding that I want to display our pictures.  It was the happiest day of my life and I want to be reminded of that everyday.  Do you have pictures displayed in your house?  What is your favorite picture or item that you have framed?

Well that is all I have for today.  I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!
