I'm not aware of qualifications for "Life Coaching", but there may be certification programs that have requirements associated.  If these "life coaches" are associated with a hosptial, they might be nurses or social workers.  You should ask the "life coach" about their credentials (education and training).

"Clinician" is a general term that can describe various types of healthcare providers, such as, nurses, doctors, psychologists, etc.  These professionals are all licensed by state boards.  I would need to know more about the type of clinician you are referring to, in order to give a more specific response.
