We have heard about blue tooth scales and now we can add one more, I guess this one needs an IP address maybe? It does have a maximum limit on who can use it though, if you are over 396# find another scale. It uses WEP/WPA/WPA2-personal security.
It has an iPhone connection too and will send your results right to your phone. This one will cost you about $160.00 in round numbers. According to the article the whole family can be set up. I don’t know the limit but could something like this work itself in the physician’s practice someday too with automatic entry into an electronic medical records system? It certainly appears that it might be PHR ready soon if not already in place with the algorithms needed. BD
