If you are a regular reader you probably already realize I attempt to cover a little bit of everything as relates to healthcare, to include new technology, surgical procedures, electronic medical records and Health IT in general. Today I would like to add a little bit about e-MDs, who is new to the Medical Quack. Those who have been around in the Health IT business no doubt recognized e-MDs as one of the early pioneers and leaders in the electronic medical records business.
I have also included a little bit about the“Cyber Clinic” from e-MDs, who does all the first hand testing of their software, which was also founded by Dr. David Winn, the founder of e-MDs. Under the physician’s resources section on this site, you can find a link to their website for additional information and below I have included some past posts related or about e-MDs. Thanks again to e-MDs and I welcome their presence to the Medical Quack! BD

The staff of Northwest Diagnostic Clinic recently celebrated 20 years of healthcare services in Cedar Park. As Cedar Park's first family medicine group practice, founder Dr. David Winn, M.D. anticipated the rapid growth of our hill country and surrounding communities. Dr. Winn built and opened the Buttercup Creek Boulevard and US Highway 183 location in 1988, then developed the new site at FM 1431 east of Hwy 183 in 2000.

The facility also has a hospital quality laboratory for rapid patient support and assessment.
