Tenet Subsidiary Conifer Health Solutions Buys MediHealth Outsourcing-Even Hospitals Are Becoming Software Factories Today Purc

Here we go once more, it’s all about those algorithms and if the payer side of this was not so profitable, hospitals wouldn’t be messing around here, it’s all in those transaction fees that go cha ching, cha ching. 

MediHealth is not a large company and I read where they have 12 employees, but if image they write powerful algos this is the focus for the dollars.  Just yesterday is was in the news how Tenet uses software to algorithmically determine what potential employees would be best for hire with behavioral formulas. 

Not too long ago, Tenet also announced the roll out of Cerner medical records at 47 of their facilities. 

There’s also the joint venture with MED3000 where business intelligence algorithms hold center stage too.  As an employee, watch for all types of new stuff to coming rolling down as cost projection and efficient analysis patterns will have even a greater focus in the near future.  Everybody' wants to be a software shop today it seems in healthcare and with so many, choices and systems get very confusing at times.  BD  

Tenet Announces Joint Venture with MED3OOO – Focus on Electronic Medical Records and Business Intelligence
